Treatment Method for Sewage Pump Blockage

Sewage Pump is a kind of mechanical equipment specially used for treating and conveying sewage, sludge and liquid containing solid matter. Clear the blockage:

First:

you need to confirm whether the pump is really blocked. You can check the water inlet and outlet of the pump to see if there is any foreign matter blocking it. If there is a foreign matter blocking it, you can use tools (such as a long rod or pliers) to remove it. Before performing these operations, you must ensure that the pump has stopped running and disconnected the power supply to avoid accidents.

Second:

Rinse with solvent: Use clean water and solvent for flushing. The solvent can effectively dissolve the medium so that it can be discharged normally after loosening.

Then:

Manually dismantle the pump for cleaning: After confirming that the medium is harmless, cut off the power supply and manually dismantle the pump, and tap with a soft hammer to gradually relieve the blockage. Hot water can be used appropriately.

Finally:

Treat rust: If the sewage pump is blocked due to improper storage and rust, lubricating oil needs to be added to the rusted area, and then tools should be used to wrench it appropriately.

Preventive Measures:

Install a filter at the pump inlet to block fine debris from entering the pump cavity.

Try to dilute the medium viscosity to avoid high viscosity adsorbed on the pipe wall.

Perform regular inspection and maintenance. Replace the lubricating oil according to the service life of the Sewage Pump, and check the internal wearing parts such as worm gear, impeller, bearing, piston, etc.

Professional maintenance: If the cleaning agent cannot solve the problem, or the blockage is located inside the pump, the pump may need to be disassembled for maintenance. Then you can open the pump casing, check whether there are faulty or damaged parts inside, and replace or repair them accordingly.
