The working principle of ISG vertical centrifugal water pump is as follows:


Inhalation process:

When the pump starts, the pump shaft drives the impeller to rotate. Due to the high-speed rotation of the impeller, the liquid between the blades is subjected to centrifugal force, which is thrown towards the edge of the impeller from the center, forming a low-pressure area at the center of the impeller. Liquid enters the center of the impeller through the inlet of the pump body under the action of atmospheric pressure or system pressure.

Acceleration process:

The liquid entering the center of the impeller is captured by the impeller blades and rotates together with the impeller. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid moves outward along the blade channel and its velocity gradually increases. At the same time, the kinetic energy of the liquid also increases.



Discharge process:

When the liquid moves to the edge of the impeller, its velocity and kinetic energy reach their maximum value due to the centrifugal force. At this point, the liquid enters the volute or diffuser of the pump body, and kinetic energy is converted into pressure energy. The liquid is discharged from the pump outlet in a high-pressure state.




Loop process:

The pump runs continuously, with liquid continuously entering from the suction port and discharging from the discharge port, completing the circulation process. Throughout the process, the flow of liquid is continuous and stable.
